Full heat pump service includes:

• Cleaning and disinfecting the indoor and outdoor units to prevent bacteria from building up on the coil and throughout the unit.
• Cleaning indoor unit filters, vanes, and outer covers.
• Checking the condensate drain, flushing with disinfectant, and unblocking if required.
• Checking electrical terminals and components for signs of soot.
• Running the unit in both heating and cooling modes to check air output temperatures.
• Checking obstructions in and around the outdoor unit base to ensure the unit, coil, drain, and electronics improve performance.
• Checking flare joints and fittings.
• Tightening valve caps and electrical connections.
• Checking and clearing the coil.
• Checking refrigerant pressures to ensure they are satisfactory for both heating and cooling.
• Cleaning the outside of the casing.
• Inspecting for the presence of insects and vermin in case of damage to electronics.
